We provide a complete array of Architectural Services, from Concept Designs and Feasibility Studies, to Planning Permission, Building Regulations and overall Project Management, guiding our clients through every step of the process in order to obtain the relevant permissions and get you ready to build your project.
We have a unique insight into Design and Build aspects of Construction Projects, as this is a key skill of our Managing Director, who has spent 27 years in the Design and Build Sector covering Architecture and Project Management, experience that we filter through to the Design and Project Teams alike.
We Specialise In :
Step 1 – Initial Design Consultation (free of charge)
This is our introductory meeting, during which we ascertain your initial vision for the project, and discuss the critical elements to form the Design Brief, as well as offering some of our own advice and ideas at the same time. We provide sketches of these ideas on the day, and discuss Architectural and Building budgets tailored to your projects individual requirements.
Step 2 – Architectural Phase
We carry out a full measured Survey of the existing Property, and produce fully detailed Plans, Elevations and Sections of the existing and proposed scheme. Once you are happy with these drawings, we submit for Planning Permission (if required), and Building Regulations Approval ahead of providing a quote for the Building Phase.
Step 3 – Project Costing
Based on the Architectural works that we undertake, we produce a fully detailed Construction Phase quote, which includes all elements discussed during the Design Phase. This quote is fixed and final, and along with the Drawings and Construction Program, forms part of the Contract Documentation for the Build Phase. This doesn’t mean that you cant change your mind or add things, it simply sets the base scope of works so we all know what is included in the Contract, and for what cost! Our Managing Director controls the Pre-Contract Phase.
Step 4 – Build Phase
Once everything is agreed, and all permissions from the Local Authority are in place, we are ready to start the build. This will be undertaken in line with the Contract Documentation for the Project, and managed by our Project Managers, who report daily to our Managing Director. It is our mission to ensure our clients are relaxed and confident throughout the Build Phase, and we are on hand 7 days a week to ensure any questions are dealt with in a timely fashion. It is our customer care throughout all 4 steps that we believe sets us apart from ‘average joe builder’.
